General Information:

Was an old movie house originally called the Hills Theater that opened in around 1942. The Hills Theater was closed in the 1980’s. It was renovated into a pedestrian walkway with some shops and offices in it, known as the Main Street Plaza. There is virtually nothing remaining of the old theatre.

Although disappointed that they turned this neat old theater into a mini-mall, when they put in the new inside doors, they were crafted by my brother, Kenneth Deesen in etched glass. But the outside sure doesn't have the charm the old theaters had with the colored running lights & neon, that's for sure. But I sure love that the Hills is on here & love this whole site. KF
