This restaurant goes back to the 1960's. There was a fire in 1961 and by 1975 all contents were being auctioned off. I believe part of the structure still stands on the site as of 2024. The long canopy roof from the original drive-in has been removed mostly however. This place was once owned by Howard Melton who also owned the Howard Melton's Restaurant in Big Rapids.
