The earliest mention I found of Bedell's was an article from 1963 that indicated there was a dynamite attack at the site. Wow. The place was once operated by Jack Bedell who was listed as general manager. There were scattered mentions into the mid-1980's. One referred to a dispute between a waitress and management over being fired for not working on New Years Eve. If I didn't know any better I would say this was a converted Ho-Jos given the look of the joint. As of 2022, the place is operating as The Moose Preserve Bar and Grill. I am going to check it out as it looks amazing on the inside and the reviews are great. As usual, the address on the old postcard (2395 Woodward Ave) is not operable in 2022.
