This bar/restaurant was built in the 1950's. It last operated as the Bubble & Squeak. I was there many times as it was right down the street from my house at the time back in the early 2000's. It was an English Pub sort of idea with decor and menu to match. It was pretty good. Sometime around 2007, it was sold as the operator at the time (since 1975), George Yeokum, passed away. The new owner had big plans to redevelop the property but the economic woes of 2008 seemed to kill the idea. The lot still sits empty as of 2025.
