General Information:

This theater came sometime after the Gem (an earlier version of the Rex which still stands). It operated from the 1916 time-frame for an unknown (by me) stretch of time. A book about the history of Morenci indicates it was also known as the Princess. It was in the building occupied by the North Tavern which later became the Morenci Pub which has apparently closed also. A street view shot of the building is below. There were also mentions of an Electric Theater in Morenci which apparently was the earliest theater.
