This store started out as Wyatt's who was famous for making their own bacon. Bob Alward took over in 1978, who was an employee of Jerry Wyatt. He adopted all of the same meat smoking methods and added some of his own. The name changed to Alward's at that time. In 2018 Terry Bovee took over from Bob Alward. The entire history is pictured below.
