This old roller rink shows up on aerial photos as early as 1955, although I am sure it goes back well before that. At one point in the 1960's there was live entertainment featured as the battle of the bands ad indicates. The place was owned and operated by Wayne Peters who passed away in 1970. Oddly, the place was robbed the month before. There was a closing notice in the Dec 3 1970 newspaper, surely related to the owner passing on.
I did find a small add from June 1971 indicating the place was still operating but I am not sure how long it lasted after that. The building itself disappeared from the aerial photos in the early 1980's. The building was on Ohio St but the driveway comes in from Hillsdale Road so it could have been either one.
