I have fond memories of this resort going back to when I was a kid. Mostly for sitting by the fire and drinking hot chocolate because I wasn't a great skier. This place, Pine Knob, Mt Holly and Mt Brighton was where folks from the Northwest side would go. This was probably a converted landfill, like so many other small slopes in the Detroit Metro area. The lodge is visible on the 1964 aerial photo but the papers say it was planned by 1960.
