This 38,000 square-foot bowling alley opened in 1971. The sign was one of the coolest bowling alley signs in the state easily. When it was in good shape and lit up at night it was especially awesome. The alley fell into some disrepair and eventually closed in 2011. It sat vacant for many years until being demolished in 2013. The owner cited a tough economy as the reason for closing. I am sure keeping the lights on in a place this size is difficult. The city started citing the owners for violations so they dumped it. As of 2023, the site is the home of a farmer's market store.
