This 24 lane alley was built in 1959. It had a restaurant and cocktail lounge. I found an article that mentioned a shooting at Augie's Bar here in 2012 so it must have been open then. The roof collapsed in 2016 because of heavy snowfall. The building still stands empty as of 2024. Metro Bowl goes back to the days when MLK Blvd. was known as Logan Street so it took a little digging to find the address. The old articles mentioning Logan St had 2 different addresses that made no sense.
